Central Texas and Elsewhere

Much appreciated and much needed. We spent the last few days in Blanco digging mud out of a family members house that was about 6' underwater and helping some friends try to locate whats left of theirs.

Growing up there, I've seen it flood a million times but good lord this time was different. I heard that the river crest was 16' higher than the Katrina flood in New Orleans.

One thing is for sure, Texas hillcountry folk are a strong, persistent and helping group.
