OK. Watched the JFF show last night. One question that I had was, did Manziel and his buddy pay income tax on his autograph income? Now that the statute of limitations has expired, it does look like they dodged a bullet there. The penalty the IRS would have been worse than whatever the NCAA would have dolled out.

True.... but it seems like once the legitimate gift amount was exceeded, income should have been reported. All the players who allegedly took large payoffs and gifts like cars could easily (perhaps should) have been investigated by the IRS. Why weren't they?
