Sorry for the off topic, but yesterday my wife got an incredible offer to join a company in Boulder, Co. Huge pay increase, stock, and a 75K stipend to move to Boulder (or somewhere within 30 mins of Boulder) provided we do so in the next 6 months. After a cursory search, it seem that most decent sized homes in Boulder are over a million dollars and out of our range. However some of the other areas around Boulder (Arvada, Lafayette, Erie, Broomfield, Louisville, and maybe Westminister and Thornton) all seem like areas that are doable for us. Seems like a lot of new construction in those areas as well plenty of existing homes. Does anyone have any information on the best of those areas, schools, best for entertainment, and even youth sports for my kid? I would greatly appreciate it.
