October 29th to November 4th.

11/3/1966- Jefferson Airplane released these two all-timer singles that help usher in the '67 Summer of Love





11/4/1969- The Allman Brothers release their self-titled 1st album. Less than 2 years later, founding member and guitarist Duane Allman would perish in a motorcycle accident. He was just 24 years old.



10/30/1970- Sir Elton John releases his 3rd album, Tumbleweed Connection.



11/2/1973- Billy Joel's signature song is released in support of his 2nd album.



10/31/1975- Queen releases "Bohemian Rhapsody" off its 4th album, "Night at the Opera."



10/31/83- Indie/Alternative legends The Smiths release their 2nd single "This Charming Man".



10/30/1987- George Michael releases his post-Wham debut solo album "Faith". It would sell 25 million copies and 7 of its 9 songs were hit releases.



11/2/1992- Whitney Houston releases her cover of a Dolly Parton song used in her upcoming acting debut. It would sell 20 million copies. the Movie soundtrack would sell 45 million copies.



11/1/1994- Tom Petty releases his 2nd solo album "Wildflowers."



11/1/1994- Nirvana release their Live Album "Unplugged in New York." Recorded from their MTV performance nearly a full year prior and released 7 months after Cobain's death at 27 years old.. Below is the final song Nirvana performed on TV.



10/30/2000- U2 releases "All that you can't leave behind", helping the band return to the top of Rock after nearly a decade.



10/31/2000- Outkast release their landmark 4th album, Stankonia, generally regarded as one of if not the best Hip-Hop album of the 2000's.
