I really like his liberal use of the word "scripted" when referring to the team preparation and work schedule. Focus will not be an issue with this team. I remember so many times how our team would come out for games and seemed like they were in a funk or sleep walking till close to the middle of the second quarter. I think we will see these guys come out like caged catch dogs ready for a fight.

I think this is his best column yet. That pre-game routine sounds incredible. This one smart coach.

The Team eats the pregame meal 3 hours and 45 minutes before kickoff. Is it just me or does that sound like he has studied and experimented with the exact time the team needs to eat in order to reach their peak performance. Not 3 hours and 30 minutes, not 4hours, 3 hours and 45 min. before Kickoff exactly.

Your absolutely right. Nothing pissed me off more about Slocum's teams the past four years then their looking completely unprepared and lethargic.

There wont be anymore walking into stadiums with a stupid look on their face wondering what is happening. They will come out as killers and death awaits the adversary.

It seems like only yesterday that we as Aggies were debating a coaching change and politicking for our favorite replacement. I have to say that I could not be more pleased with Coach Fran or more excited for the season to start. I really have missed this "excited" feeling the past few years, and next Saturday night can't come soon enough. By the way, how many of us are going to welcome Coach Fran to his first real yell practice before we beat the hell outta Arkansas State?

I liked RC, a lot, however I believe Fran really has it right in controlling the info on the team. He does however communicate freally with his weekly messages. He is really organized and while I expect to have the occaisional bad game. I expect fewer and I expect a very prepared team especially on the road. I am very impressed with the routine he has before the game.

"We've got so many weapons," McNeal said. "You can throw a three-yard pass, and they can turn it into a 67-yard touchdown. This year, I think what people should do is sit back and watch us. We're going to shock a lot of people this year."
