    He was at A&M with Sumlin and at one point he was labeled as one of their "ace" recruiters. So if you follow recruiting his name was familiar. Otherwise I know nothing about him.

    With the coaching turnover it's actually a small miracle we were able to sign this talented as a class. It's small yes, but the top end talent is what you need to compete for championships. Especially the two big DT's

    Didn't say that. I just don't think they choose TCU solely over GP, they chose TCU more so bc of Kelly. Especially the WR's. We lost Reagor to them bc of Kelly a few years ago, we lost Q.J. this cycle bc of Kelly, and we are going to lose the Savion kid to them also because of Kelly.

    WR from Marshall just got offered recently. I forget his name, he's a freak athlete who played QB this year. 6'4+ Also I'd put Dixon at like 99.9% lol

    His downfall started with yelling at Yancy McKnight (the S&C) that he would kill him. He was in the dog house after that, stopped going to class, etc.

    Prince Dorbah (lb) is arguably one of the best players in the state. He played out of position in HS but will be an LB for us. We also took a flier on an ATH who played QB in hs and are going to try and make him a LB i think. So we shall see.

    All signs point toward Alfred Collins DE (high 4* and might add a 5*) signing with the good guys on signing day. Princely U. (DE) might come back on board if the coaches want him (4* as well).

    I dont think so. The majority of our class already signed. And this was always going to be a small-ish class because of numbers, think quality and not quantity. We'll likely add another 2 DL and 1 DB between now and signing day. I bet save some spots for a grad transfer WR and another position.

    @clob94 What do you know or what can you tell us about Jay Boulware? He played under McWilliams and Mackovic in 91 & 92 and was a GA under Mackovic for a few years 94-96. He was just hired as our TE and ST coach. Hired him away from OU.

    Like Speedstrength said above compressed is just a way of saying a formation is "tighter" together and inside the numbers just off the o-line. Usually the personnel will stay the same, unless the compressed formation is a certain package. Some common formations would be Doubles tight, trips...

    Ya this is a transition football is making across all leagues and levels. Kids want to play offense. Plain and simple.
