    Baylor is still Baylor...

Briles is still claiming innocence in this matter and has never admitted to anything. And BU gave him millions to walk away and to avoid his wrongful termination suit against the university. I think Briles is sleazy and believe he was complicit in the culture that was going on.

    So ESPN

It is certainly possible. Both teams were playing on the road so you have to consider that. UCLA and Notre Dame look like 8 win (regular season) teams to me.

    UCLA vs A&M

If Kelly never plays Zaire beyond 2 series, if my aunt had balls she would be my uncle, blah blah blah

    So ESPN

Of course he doesn't get fired if he goes 11-1. He absolutely gets fired at 1-11. Nobody is ever going to admit there is a magic number, although there could be. But even that is subjective. 7-5 with multiple wins over ranked teams looks a lot different than 7-5 against the dregs of the...

    So ESPN

first 2 sentences were lights out. You should have stopped there.

    So ESPN

Why is weather a factor? It's going to be 84 degrees at kickoff. If this was typical early September Texas summer weather and game was in the afternoon I could see it being a factor.

THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE.....

Baylor didn't start running the wildcat in their game with UT until way too late. They perfected in planning for UNC and made Gene Chizik look completely incompetent.

    So ESPN

Based on all these predictions, FPI etc. they are indicating that ND is highly overrated at #10. This will be an interesting one.

THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE.....

I think Texas played Baylor's 4th string QB (who I believe was a WR).

THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE.....

Now if they get piss pounded by TOSU at home, its over.

THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE.....

OU got waxed by a putrid Texas team last year and then ran the table in the conference, beating some good teams along the way. Just sayin.

    UCLA vs A&M

Doc, If you are really paying attention to Aggie football this is a weak assessment. Sumlin has proven, for better or worse, that his coordinators have full authority. The approach to the end of the game is on Chavis and Mazzone. Sumlin may have made the decision to go for it on 4th and goal...

    Herman's gone

If UH gets the Big 12 invite and they bump his salary up, I could see Herman staying until U. Meyer leaves Ohio St. I think he ultimately ends up there. With Meyer's previous health issues, he could leave at any time.

He will not last the season.

    OU

I am really stunned at how bad OU's offense looks. Didn't see that coming.

    OU

An OU fan on a Texas board while OU is playing. Cant stop laughing.

    OU

I give OU a lot of credit for scheduling 2 top 15 for OOC but very little chance they come out without a loss.

    OU

yep, betting the overs will probably pay off in this one.

    Wow, ESPN just blasted Stoops

Quite true but what does it say about UT that they have performed at their worst in the past 6 years when the conference has likely been at its weakest point in its 20 year history.

    Wow, ESPN just blasted Stoops

So you acknowledge the conference is worse than in 2010, regardless of the reason?
