2nd commitment in 2 days. Reese Moore is a 6'6 high school tight end who projects as an OT in college. Speaking of projects, he will be one but has a lot of potential upside. Even at 6'6 he has decent quicks and footwork and will excel in this department as a tackle. Add some weight and strength and he could be a solid tackle.

Can he catch because the TE position is a need position. So is OT but we haven't had a TE in YEARSSSSSS

His Hudl shows some decent catches, so yes, he has the hands to be a TE. Nike measured him at 6'6 250 lbs with a 5.08 40. Watching his highlights he can move but doesn't have high end athleticism. As a TE, he would be utilized more as a blocker at the college level who can occasionally keep you honest with a catch. He would not represent the elite TE that you are thinking of.

For Texas, if the TE position doesn't improve, it would be possible that we use him there especially early in his career. However, I think the expectation is that he will probably redshirt and in two years from now his body will be more OT and less TE. Imagine a 6'6 frame, around 300 pounds, with the athleticism of a TE.
