....going back to the final game of the 2022 season vs Baylor, Texas now has a 6 game win streak at home, and has a chance to finish the 2023 season with an unblemished mark at DKR for the first time since the 2009 season. As we saw yesterday, there are many things still for this young, talented team to work on and improve, but one of the standards of any really good program is defending your home field. We haven't done that for a full season in well over a decade. It feels good to be headed in the right direction. To quote a bad Under Armour commercial from just about as long ago as we have been undefeated at home, "WE MUST PROTECT THIS HOUSE!"
Fans have also made a difference. They shower up and were loud yesterday. HuffTex, Lady HuffTex, and The Pistol showed up loud yesterday and even made an appearance @MB-HORNS tailgate. It was good to see some of the fellas pregame.
