On the surface the 5 seed always seemed better but now it might not. It's hard to say who you play as the 5 or 6 because there are a lot of moving pieces...
What we know is that Oregon is #1, Georgia is 2, and Boise is #3. If you're number 6 you get Boise in the second round and theoretically Georgia in the semis. You would avoid Oregon until the finals who I think is the best team or there.
Just something else to think about. The bad thing about the 6 Seed is that I really wouldn't want to play Alabama in that game...
