FYI, Rice graduate OL transfer Calvin Anderson tells me he will in fact be taking a visit to Texas this weekend.
Texas is obviously a major player in this one, as we've discussed, but the Longhorns have some stiff competition. Schools from all over the country are in hot pursuit, including a few in-home visits for Anderson today. Texas visited him yesterday.
Also, I'm hearing Texas will do in-home visits with RB commitment Keaontay Ingram tonight and most likely, top d-end/linebacker target Joseph Ossai tomorrow. Interim coach Bryan Carrington will be involved in both, so that's big for Texas, particularly with Ossai.
