It was approximately 25 years ago when some piss drunk aggy at DKR hurled a whiskey/coke 15 rows in front of him after a Ricky Williams TD. My whiskey stained clothes smelled glorious as the Longhorns cinched the win against these cross State interlopers.
Thanksgiving just hasn’t been the same since Justin Tucker’s kick in November of 2011. A piece has been missing deep within my very core. Home games against Baylor/TCU/Tech have been fun opportunities to show the 40 to my growing children over the years. But it never felt “right”.
Today we return to what is right. One of the greatest 10 rivalries in American sports is renewed and restored tonight in Collieville. Let’s go destroy the ags at Gomer Pile Field.
