This isn't like texags where you will be banned for questioning your team/school/coach. Feel free to vent here, we won't bite.

MM feel free to pin this to the top. I have a feeling some peeps are going to need it. The battle in the SEC has only just begun.

We suck again...

I’ve asked what happens when Jimbo goes after the guys that signed on for Sumlin’s DJs and barber shop. They are quitting as expected.

This is supposed to be a free and open place for the Ags to vent. If all you numbskulls are in here bagging on them, we are going to run them off.

The Aggie bulletin board existence is much like a real life 1984. If you post negative material, you will be tortured into compliance by texags. The thought police are everywhere. This needs to be a safe place for them.

It is funny to see how I am the first non- Longhorn fan to comment here. Just curious, do any of you have an idea of how many Aggies look at your free board?

That is pretty comical, but I can't laugh too much. We have some KU fans who report to our paid forum of what the KSU board is saying. For example, one of their moderators has a weekly thread, solely dedicated to mock Miles' Monday press conferences. They truly do have some little brother syndrome.

Thanks, very considerate of you...but I'm good!

So are we going to play you guys in the why are there so many bowl games bowl? No idea who would win, doubt the powers that be would let it happen when both teams are crap.

At this point, neither team deserves to play in a bowl game. I think that Texas will end up with five losses in the regular season. IMO, Herman is on the brink of losing the team.

I don't really understand what is going on with you guys. I thought ya'll were close to being legit after the LSU game. Seems like injuries are a big part of it. I really thought you guys would win 9 or 10 in the regular season after the LSU game.

Regardless, from an outsider's perspective who doesn't have your best interest in mind. I was sick when you guys fired Strong and picked up Herman. I did not want you guys to fire Strong, because it was obvious he was not the guy. I really don't feel that way about Herman, I feel like he recruits so well that he might turn things around. But it seems that the fan base liked Strong a lot better as a person than they do Herman. I think ya'll would be making a mistake running off Herman at the end of the season, unless you had a truly elite guy ready to sign up.

From my experience, the fan base didn't like Strong at the end and wanted him gone. Herman will most likely be back next year, but if Texas ends up with five losses, multiple players enter the transfer portal, and recruits start dropping like flies, he may be shown the door. I think it depends on how the season ends.

Aggy & Piggy need to come back to this (vastly superior) conference.

...

Agree:)

What about Nebraska & Missouri & Colorado too? I would think they would all jump at the chance to join a vastly superior conference.

In all honesty, I live in Little Rock and many Arkansas fans would really support going to the BIG12. It is a frequent subject on sports talk radio locally. They are sick to death of the SECW, and do not think they will ever be able to compete. The thought is that they recruit better than most of the BIG12 teams, so they'd have a chance. But they are always shot down because the $ would be a lot less and they are accustomed to spending those dollars.

If they don't win a conference game for a couple more years, it may become a real possibility. They are a pretty proud fan base and sick of getting their asses kicked every single week. There is only one 4 star player in the state this year, and he isn't going to Arkansas. Smart fans realize they don't really have a chance with almost exclusively 3 star recruits.

I agree with this. Not that anyone wants a&m back in the Big 12, but aggy is in the same boat as Arkansas. They're not going to compete for or win a conf. championship any time soon. Financially the move has been good for a&m, but from a wins and losses standpoint, it hasn't worked out so well.

A&M is middle of the pack right now in the SECW, but we have the ability to recruit top 10 classes pretty much annually. So atleast we have a chance. I don't see us dominating the league in a couple years like some of our more fanatical fans. But I do see us consistently winning 9 games starting next year and occasionally having the stars align and doing better. But Alabama and LSU aren't going anywhere, and I think Auburn will be about what we are going forward.

Arkansas might be able to recruit top 30 classes annually. That gives them almost no chance. I get why some would want to go, but unsure if $ would ever allow it. And if Texas or OU ever bolt the BIG12, Arkansas could end up in a group of 5 conference. So really risky.

Y'all do realize aggy hasn't beaten a single team with a 500record? They can't have that easy a schedule in the Big 12

So both Aggy and Longhorn are 6-3, one is unranked, one is ranked 19 in the CFP rankings.

Aggy has wins over Arkansas (bad), Miss State (bad), and Ole Miss (bad). Their losses are to teams ranked 3, 5, and 12 in the CFP.
Conclusion: Ranked right about where they should be given the resume.

Longhorn has wins over (22) OK State (pretty good), WVU (bad), (24) KSU (debatable), and Kansas (ahem). Their losses are to teams ranked 1, 10, and to a sub .500 TCU.
Conclusion: "We're Texas". #19 in the CFP. o_O

The remainder of both team's seasons will tell a lot.
