I think the climate change alarmist who blame climate changes on mankind are suffering from an overdose of hubris. I do not deny that the climate changes over the course of time, but I don't think man can make much difference one way or another.
About 7million years ago, the Sahara area was a lush grass land. The earth's axis changed a little and this caused the change to a desert area.
The Gobi desert was once green and fertile until the Indian plate began to impact the Asia continental plate and created the Himalayas which blocked the moisture from the Indian Ocean from the reaching the Gobi.
In 1816 we had a year without a summer. The cause was a volcanic eruption in the Dutch East Indies.
The earth was once mostly a bunch of molten continental plates moving around. It changed naturally.
Mankind did not cause or end the ice ages that carved out the Great Lakes of North America.
My point is the climate does change, but mankind has had no impact on the great changes that have occurred over time. We can't even affect the weather and prevent tornadoes, hurricanes, or rain fall. How in the world do we think we can control the climate today? I think some people are a little "full of themselves" to believe we are powerful or smart enough to control the climate. We as a people need to take a step back and look for ways to adapt and accept that the earth is in control and not us. If everyone went to the beach and urinated into the ocean, the sea level would be change one bit.
What are your thoughts on this point of view. Do you really think we can control the climate?
