Roper has an interesting resume Strong might go after if he wants someone with skins on his wall. Roper is from Texas graduating from Rice. He then started his college coaching career at Tennesee under Fulmer and David Cutliffe. He then moved to Ole Miss with David Cutiffe as the OC and Duke again with Cutliffe as OC. Muschamp hired Roper to bring in a spread offense his last season as the head coach of Florida. Roper is currently a special assistant with the Cleveland Browns.
