Anybody remember Pearland sooner/TXsooner?

OB history: I know @LonghornMM remembers. But, I think of him every time I see how well James Franklin is doing at PSU. He was at Vandy and it was the year we were searching and got Strong. TXsooner had it in his mind that we should hire Franklin and even posted several threads. Well, he was right (and I give him credit) about Franklin being a good coach. Not sure he was the best fit or how good or bad things would be here. I am happy with TH. I hope the Strong years and the new TH era are worth it. Franklin has turned PSU around pretty quick. He was 24-15 in 3 years at Vandy and he is 31-15 in three full years and this year after today. The dude has only 1 losing season as head coach and that was his 1st year at Vandy (6-7).

Franklin is who I wanted the year Strong got to Texas. I hope Herman is even better. I think Franklin is a big time recruiter as well

FWIW....I also was in the "Franklin" camp when Mack left.

Also FWIW....I was convinced TxSooner was/is Bell. Except Bell has more sense.Either a different guy...or he has gotten wiser.
