But are they a real political party anymore?
I have no idea what they stand for or what their principles are...besides an extreme hatred of all things, Trump, Republicans, Middle America, etc...
The Democratic Presidential candidates are off the rails. None of their ideas are real.
Long gone are the days of the likes of Barbara Jordan...
I do believe the Democrats had a real place in American politics and brought up real ideas to help make America a better place. However, once those things were put in motion and are off the table they have nothing left in their political tank.
For discussion purposes...I do not think the Republicans have much to offer in the way of policy changes- the "platform" boxes to check are running pretty thin. However, I think their greatest action going forward is keeping a Democratic president out of the WH.
My .02 is I do not think there is a dynamic change needed, but continuous improvement through technology and innovation should never stop. My greatest wish is that this election cycle Trump says that he will legalize marajuana. If Republicans truly believe in capitalism then let the market dictate if its a real/legal product.
