Full disclosure I am a Vandy dad. My daughter goes there as do my nephew (started on JV Black this season) and nieces.
That said, have Vandegrift, Westlake & Lake Travis become the golden triangle of Central TX HS Football? They are all 10 miles or less distance from each other, consistently make noise in the playoffs and put out solid and some ELITE D1/NFL talent.
Westlake and Vandy both playing for 6A titles next Saturday is pretty cool. I was at the Vandy/Summer Creek game last night and it was really good. Feel terrible for Vandy’s top WR going down with an injury last weekend and can’t play. Brock is a great kid from a great family.
