And this is from The Athletic's article about the conference call with the B1G's Commissioner about the schedule.

Some of the marquee rivalry games, most notably Michigan-Ohio State, have been moved up from their traditional November dates to ensure more time to make the game up if either or both teams can’t participate.

The final iteration of the 2020 Big Ten fall football schedule was nicknamed “Jenga 41” by the league office because it has 41 collapsible games, meaning the two teams have an idle week in common for which the game can be rescheduled on or before Nov. 21. Divisional games and rivalry matchups were prioritized to receive maximum flexibility.​
