Find yourself looking down the TP isle needing a wipe? Don't find yourself standing outside your locked bank during business hours. Y'all know what to do.
Cutting rates to zero seems to indicate panic...
Ya, keep that stop at the 2018 low. They are attempting to save the credit system but I don't know if it will be enough. There will be a ton of small, medium, and large businesses that go bankrupt in the next month. Don't get caught in a month long bank holiday. This has been common all over the world. Don't think it won't happen here. No one would have thought that people would be hoarding TP a week ago. I figure we are days from a bank run. They are already storming the banks in the NY and the Hamptons. The wealthy are the ones with bank connections and are the first tipped off to pending news. Be prepared.
What are they doing up there, liquidating their bank accounts and keeping cash on-hand?
The same people hoarding toilet paper are the same people that criticize folks like me who buy bullets in bulk. If there's a run on the banks, I'll simply shoot your ass and take your toilet paper. If there is a total collapse of the banking system, it would seem that actual dollar bills would be worthless.

Wasn't it just Friday that you were telling everyone to buy, buy, buy?
Now you're telling everyone to make a run on the bank?
You have to put things in context. New revelations are coming out daily and covid is just one thing that simply exposed world debt and bank problems. The huge rate cut along with QE and other things are desperate attempts to keep things going and it happened on a Sunday out of the blue. So, yes, circumstances change and strategies change, unless it is people like you with 20/20 rear view vision. Why don’t you take a stand on what you would do so we can evaluate you and critique you with rear view advantageWasn't it just Friday that you were telling everyone to buy, buy, buy?

Well, we have differences and I don't want to bust your balls anymore. I just hope you or me or anybody doesn't act like they are perfect when it is their side, but if one mistake happens on the other side, then it is all out hell and the worst thing in the world. I honestly have genuine respect for different ways of doing things, but I feel every late night show and news station isn't representative of most of America which I believe to be conservative. Regardless, I hope we can revisit this post in the summer to see (in a friendly way) if we did well or we screwed up. This pandemic will require a retrospective review.I don't think anyone paying attention to the worldwide events would think that the US was not going to have to take drastic action. Some people want to push the idea that covid19 is a hoax or overblown, but it would be naive to think we weren't on this path. Perhaps it would have been more limited if we had access to testing, but here we are.
I have my own idea on what I did/will do with my money. I won't share it with others because I don't want to take the responsibility should it not pan out well.
Your money? You mean your wife’s money. You already couldn’t stay working when oil was $50, I know for an absolute fact you’re not working at $28/barrel. In your free time you’re running down the fossil fuel industry and promoting the global warming hoax, talk about hypocrisyI don't think anyone paying attention to the worldwide events would think that the US was not going to have to take drastic action.
