Democrats on this board please don't blindly follow the socialism trend of your hard left. Its time to change parties for the sake of your country. Capitalism has its flaws and is not perfect but just look around your home and job and your leisure life. Everything you have and all of the creature comforts. The medications that save your life and the technology that drives your futures is the result of capitalism and not socialism. Don't even be fooled into believing that the Nordic version of socialism can work longterm. If you are a country of 5 to 10 million and the population is relatively homogeneous then there might be things that can be done but in a nation of over 300 million with diverse populations it can't work. Even the Nordic model is showing signs of stress and strain as those countries introduce hundreds of thousands of migrants.
Socialism doesn't work.
