Just got word that Texas 2017 DT/DE signee Jamari Chisholm will arrive in Austin on July 28.
Chisholm, who signed with Texas out of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Junior College on National Signing Day, had work to do this summer to finish up some academic requirements.
The hope, initially, was that he'd be able to enroll for the second summer session but a source close to Chisholm tells me his move-in day will be at the end of July assuming he finishes with an adequate score in one more class that he'll complete tomorrow. If that happens, it will put Chisholm on campus before the start of UT's preseason camp. My understanding, per the person I communicated with, is that Chisholm would be available to participate in all of camp.
