Bowl Plays

And there is a nice hit on LT with the outright W over Miami.

I was going to create a catch all thread for bowl games that aren't ours, but instead of going through all that, I'll just hijack your sh!t.

I think bama covers and tOSU wins outright.

If Wallace and Sanders are healthy, then I’ll take okie light to cover—I know this may shock some of you since Mond is the best QB in the sec, thus the nation, but I am a rebel.

I thought Sanders was out for the season ? No? Big difference in the game if he plays.

Personally, I think the B1G was weak this year so I question just how good their teams are. Ohio St really hasn’t played anyone.

True, but they aren’t bad top to bottom from any other conference. PSU, Minn, Wisc, tOSU are all solid teams and Iowa, Mich, are above average. SEC has bama, LSU, Georgia, Auburn as solid, the. Above average are Fla, A&M. B12 we have ou and. Baylor then the rest. PAC there is Oregon and Utah as solid then USC, Washington above average. I guess we will soon see.

That is surely the conventional wisdom. I’m just not sure it’s true, but I could be proven wrong in the bowls.

thanks @ball911

any lean on Southern Cal +3.5 tonight vs. Iowa or ND -4 vs. ISU tomorrow AM?
No strong feelings in either. I would lean to SC+ and ND-...but I would be shocked not at all if IS played ND a very tough game.

@ball911 any thoughts on Alamo Bowl Over/Under 54? Orange bowl tonight UVa +15. Vs Florida?
No opinion on either. I will say that generally, under is a good way to look in bowl games. If I were to play the game, I would take UVA+, but I don’t view it as a good play.

Thanks @ball911. will stay away from tonights Orange Bowl. Kansas State is getting 3 points against a 10-2 Navy Team am I nuts to go with KSU?
Here is one for you to consider:

MUSIC CITY BOWL - We will have excellent weather in Nashville for the Music City Bowl. Mississippi State has a terrific offense behind RB Kylin Hill (5.7 yards per carry), who led the SEC in rushing with 1,347 yards. The offense scored 38, 23, 30 and 54 points in four of its five games away from home, but the defense is allowing 31.2 points the last eight games. Louisville has plenty of offensive punch, as well, averaging 32.7 points per game behind RB Javian Hawkins (5.9 yards per carry, 1,420 yards). But the defense is soft, allowing an average of 38.8 points the last nine contests! Louisville is on a 7-3 run OVER the total, plus 15-4 OVER on the road after two or more consecutive games going OVER. Mississippi State won 31-27 when these teams clashed in a bowl in 2017 and this shapes up as another offensive show. Take the OVER.

Dude--- take Utah and the points and take out a second mortgage.

what is your reasoning for this @clob94 ?Texas +8 in a basic home field game against a good team with a great coach, but has multiple starters not playing to protect NFL draft status. Seems similar to last year vs UGa. I think C Johnson is playing for us as well. Gimme the 8 points and Texas pal. Good Luck-

Seems everyone betting Utah. I’m taking Texas in a shocker.

Kyle whittingham is 11-2 in bowl games as a coach. Utah will come prepared.
