Texas coach Charlie Strong wrapped up his Big 12 media conference on Monday, and voiced his support of defensive coordinator Vance Bedford.
When asked about Bedford, Strong said he and Vance Bedford have a long history. In addition, Strong said Bedford knows defense and described him as an "outstanding coach."
Strong said they worked on changes during the bye week, and it appears the biggest emphasis will be on personnel decisions. He did not mention anything about changing schemes, or taking away Bedford's play-calling duty.
We will see if Strong expands on his defense during his press conference on Monday at 11 a.m.
