If Clemp and ASU can't get to Ewers, we will win. Ewers is a good game manager, just don't ask him to win it on the last drive.
After watching our reaction to our placement in the playoff…Sark has some work to do getting this team up for the Clemson game. That body language was not good.
And….imo….we will need our defense to put pts on the board if we want to win any game going forward ie pick six or safety…
I just can’t get my head around the fact that some people can’t see that QE is what’s holding this offense back.
Ewers has his limitations but you can't change horses midstream. Not at this point of the season.
We gonna ride and die with Quinn till the end hopefully Sark can add some wrinkles to the game with Manning. We can get past Clemson and ASU funny thing they were picked last in the Big 12 at the start of the year. isu and their 5 star culture got smacked around. Then it's Oregon we can take out midget.
Well we're going to have to wait and see. Look if I'm reading this bracket correctly Oregon could play Ohio State again. And what a game that was the best game of the year so far.
I have another take on James Franklin. He's 1/14 against top 5 teams since he's been there and I'm talking about 11 years now. James Franklin is another RC Slocum. But Steve Sarkisian will not end up like those two.
Right now @weevilcatch this looks like pretty even playoff matchups. Is Indiana any good but Notre Dame has beaten only 1 ranked team. Even if he doesn't this year I do think Marcus Freeman will win a nc at ND before he's through.
I don't know about Ohio State/Tennessee.
Penn State/SMU my heart's with the mustangs but I have my doubts.
1 offensive touch down in 6 qtrs of play. That isn’t gonna cut it the rest of the way.
There are only 2 matchups that are bad for Texas. Jawja and da gumps. Why? They have elite D line talent. They can get to Quinn and force errors and disrupt play. If teams cannot get to Quinn, we will win. Bama ain't in it and Jawja gonna lose because we took out their #1 and possibly #2 qbs for the playoff. We should win this thing if Quinn doesn't crap his pants.
Clemson not a good matchup either. I’d rather have SMU or Indiana and then Boise
If we draw the 🦓 who did last night's Clemson game we will lose. Zero turnovers and penalties? Did you watch the game SMU outplayed therm and they still lost.
This is a recurring theme in college football. The politics of raking in the most $$$ is affecting how officials call the games. One good thing for Texas. We can buy who we want, when we want and how we want. I expect 120-0 games in the near future. Not all but some.

Clemps D line is worse than our D line. I don't expect them to control the line of scrimmage. Can Ewers throw 4 picks in the first half, yes. That's our secondary issue.... Ewers. He has been decent when he has 3 seconds to throw.
Nope. I love Taafe. He picked off Ewers twice in the 2021 State Championship and won Defensive MVP of the game. Klubnick was the Offensive MVP.
He picked off QE twice in state title game a few years ago or something like that. Definitely not a jab

I’m focused on who gives us the best chance to win games. That’s it.
To answer your question: it depends how we lost the game (QB play, defense play, O-Line play, RBs play, WRs play).
So, Texas fans should be grateful for simply winning? No way! I don’t think that way. That’s loser talk. I’m grateful for winning Championships at Texas!!!
