College Football Playoff Predictions?

I think the winner of the Texas - OSU game in the 2nd round goes on to win it all. Gotta go with Texas since OSU has a blockhead for their HC (Day). Those 2 teams - IMO - are the most talented teams in the country
That would be the 3rd round. We would have to beat Clemson and ASU and I think we will. Ohio state would have to beat Tennessee and Oregon for us to play them. Oregon or Ohio state would both be tough matchups.

I’m unable to look past Clemson. We haven’t shown we can actually beat them in our last few games, imo. There are too many games in the season now to rely solely on D play to win championships. We’re going to have to score points convincingly and we haven’t seen that since the Kentucky game.

Everyone in the playoff is a good football team with some major strengths and some glaring weaknesses.

IMO, Notre Dame and Oregon are the teams to beat, but even they have some major faults.

I guess if I were to rank the playoff teams based on "most talented"

1 - Ohio State
2 - Texas
3 - Georgia
4 - Notre Dame
5 - Oregon
6 - Tennessee
7 - Clemson
8 - Penn State
9 - Boise State
10 - Arizona State
11 - SMU
12 - Indiana

"best" team - as in most complete overall from the QB to the front 7 to the special teams

1 - Oregon
2 - Georgia
3 - Notre Dame
4 - Penn State
5 - Texas
6 - Boise State
7 - Ohio State
8 - Indiana
9 - Arizona State
10 - Penn State
11 - Clemson
12 - Tennessee

And finally "most likely" to win the natty

1 - Oregon
2 - Notre Dame
3 - Texas
4 - Georgia
5 - Ohio State
6 - Tennessee
7 - Clemson
8 - Penn State
9 - Arizona State
10 - SMU
11 - Boise State
12 - Indiana

Oregon es muy esssplosivo..... we would need 30 to beat them.

Clemson- 1st team to 24 wins.

There’s going to be upsets in this playoff system. My hope is that we aren’t one of them. I bet Boise and SMU will win in the first round. 2nd round I see Oregon getting upset by someone. Explosive offense but an average defense.
