Every week during the season, the Orangebloods staff will release an updated SEC Power Rankings that reveals the state of the conference in our eyes. All teams are ranked 1-16, with the first-place team receiving 16 points and the last place team receiving 1 point.

Let's take a look at how things look going into the final week of the regular season.

(Note: @Alex Dunlap did not participate this week and is now on voting probation.)

1. Texas (5) 80 points (Last week: 1st)

Highest ranking: 1st (Unanimous) Lowest ranking: 1st (Unanimous)

The Longhorns have beaten one SEC school ranked in the top 10 of this week's Power Poll. They need to make it 2 on Saturday.

2. Georgia - 75 points (Last week: 4th)

Highest ranking: 2nd (Unanimous) Lowest ranking: 2nd (Unanimous)

The Dawgs are +490 to win the national championship. That seems like a good number for those so inclined.

3. Tennessee - 68 points (Last week: 5th)

Highest ranking: 3rd (Jason/Travis/Anwar) Lowest ranking: 4th (Geoff/Cody)

The Vols are on the cusp of making the playoff, one week after it felt like they were going to be shut out. College football, man...

4. South Carolina - 65 points (Last week: 6th)

Highest ranking: 3rd (Geoff/Cosy) Lowest ranking: 6th (Travis)

Once upon a time, it felt like I was the only person on the Gamecock Express. Choooo! Chooooo!

5T. Alabama - 55 points (Last week: 2nd)

Highest ranking: 5th (Geoff/Cody/Travis) Lowest ranking: 8th (Anwar)

Honestly, the rest of these rankings are a total grab bag and it starts here.

5T. Ole Miss 55 points (Last week 3rd)

Come on, Lane. You're this season's real pants pisser.

7. Florida - 50 points (Last week: 9th)

Highest ranking: 5th (Jason) Lowest ranking: 10th (Travis)

The Gators are the best win on the Texas resume, right?

8. Texas A&M - 47 points (Last week: 7th)

Highest ranking: 5th (Anwar) Lowest ranking: 10th (Cody)

Will the Aggies remain in the top 10 with a loss this weekend?

Highest ranking: 8th (Cody/Travis) Lowest ranking: 10th (Geoff)

Brian Kelly is doing less with more.

10. Missouri 35 points (Last week: 11th)

I'm open to the idea that Cody is more right than I am.

11T. Oklahoma - 25 points (Last week: 14th)

Highest ranking: 10th (Jason) Lowest ranking: 13th (Geoff/Cody/Travis)

I was wrong... the Sooners did make it higher than 13th before the season ended.

13. Vanderbilt 24 points (Last week: 10th)
