83 year old pops, in great shape got diagnosed with Prostate Cancer after a variety of tests and scans. He is hard of hearing and may not have heard all the details. Dad claims he was told a bunch of confusing numbers (e.g, 2,3,4) but thought he heard it's the slower growing type and can wait. But then my Mom thinks he did not hear well enough and they are going to see the Dr again. I am not allowed to attend the visit due to Covid restrictions at the Dr office. So, my plan to help out is to create a list of questions on a Word doc and have her take it in with her to the Dr office.
For any of you who have dealt with this cancer and are willing / not too personal (PM if you want) would you mind sending me any and all ideas or questions that you would ask to help you understand what we are dealing with. I know there are a variety of treatments, just want to help my parents with some questions to have answered.
As usual, OB and OPs are the best at this. Appreciate all your help. Again, I understand if its too personal pls dont be offended by my request. Just hate using the internet too much for this since type of stuff.
