Dear aggies

Ok, show us a clip of a missed holding in those games. There's bound to be some.

Also, I guess you are accusing the SEC of some sort of conspiracy to keep you down?
No, but 7 games without a hold? You do watch football right? As a fan of course you see lots of holds that are missed. Read your own boards for confirmation of that of the ranting that goes on here about officiating.

Just wondering if there was a particular play that you had in mind, but I see now you're just setting the stage to play the victim card in case it doesn't go your way.

For the record, if there is a bad call against us we will absolutely rant over it, might even throw stuff.

It’s not specific plays, but when you watch a game you scream at the TV or when you are at the game that there is holding. Sacks have. Gone down the past few weeks..coincidence? I’m not setting the stage for anything. Seven weeks without a hold is crazy.. that’s all.

Here's one. I'm sure there are lots more.

How many holdings did your OL get called for? Y’all were mugging Auburn all freaking night. I specifically called it out during the game, because it was so freaking obvious. It’s typical aggy mentality to blame others for what you’re doing yourselves, while playing the victim card along the way. My Lord, you should all vote democrat with that mentality.

If… and I do mean IF, aggy gets screwed on a call, I’ll admit it; the same goes for okie. I’ve done it before and I’ll do it again. Now, I’ll laugh at your expense that you got screwed over, because… seriously, **** you… But, I will call it out.

Go back and look at my posts since the beginning of the season and see where I’ve constantly pointed out blatant no-calls against aggy, while your opponents are getting called on petty bullshit. And you still have the nerve to flap your wing like a little bird playing hurt.

You honestly think if you start losing there won’t be rants about officiating?? You can say that with a straight face based on this board? You might want to review the past game threads before spending your money.
There are already rants about the officiating, because it’s HORRIBLE. Texas is getting called on all kinds of petty crap that our opponents aren’t…. BUT, Texas is still winning. One is not reliant on the other, because we’re pointing it out when it occurs, not using it as an excuse.

And for the record, it’s not just Texas getting screwed. All of the SEC officiating this season has been absolutely horrible and inconsistent. They’re make the B12 look competent.

LOL. 30 quarters without a holding penalty. Not saying it's a conspiracy, but it seems a little unlikely.

Glad y'all still get all wound up about your non rival. ;)

It’s obviously NOT a conspiracy. Can you objectively deny that the officials didn’t call defensive holding against aggy in the end zone, and then called a phantom OPI against Auburn? Can you admit that you benefited from that?

Officer, I can't watch A&M games on TV. I have been banished by my much more mild mannered family to an outdoor space with a radio.

I just thought that stat seemed interesting, as I remember the Myles Garrett era.

And truthfully I just like arguing with Longhorns. Been a long time since we had a game week to do that. :)

You don’t have to watch the games, because there’s also an SI.com article about them. Y’all have benefitted from the horrible officiating too, and it’s been happening all season. Everyone is getting screwed.

Of all the posters in here- I can guarantee you that I call out our fvck ups as well as the other teams fvck ups. If we are getting jobbed by the refs or aggy is getting jobbed by the refs- I can 100% sure you I'll call balls and strikes on that.

I’ll give you that. You would t know it but when I’m on the couch watching a Texas game, I will say Texas got hosed as well. Now, like you I’ll laugh about it..but I will agree that someone got screwed. I just scratch my head at 7 and a half games without a hold.

I’m assuming your claim is accurate. So how many holding calls went against the Aggies?.

Once again, complaining about officiating is a sign of weakness. Get over it. Just play better so it’s not an issue when a bad call can cost you the game.

Here's the video on Texags..... if you can tell me the ball wasn't past the receiver- the DB didn't lower his head, and the DB didn't hit the Texas player in the head- unnecessarily- I'll agree with you.

I'll give the aggies this. They were 7/6 last year. They've already won 8 and I think Elko is off to a good start.

They've always had some talent they usually have a few kids who could start at most schools. Can Elko recruit kids who want to be there? From what I read it looks like he's bringing in a good recruiting class. He's in the same boat as Sarkisian and especially Venables can he run with the big dogs in the SEC? More will be revealed.

Are you saying that the call was weak sauce, the player’s actions were weak sauce, or your fellow aggy’s defending it is weak sauce?

That is 100% a penalty. The defender lowered his head, struck [nay, targeted] the opposing player’s helmet (who was defenseless) with the crown of his helmet. The defender wasn’t even making a defensive play, much less a play on the ball. That is a dirty hit, sir. Just because he didn’t brain the receiver doesn’t make it any better.

If you defend this, just because you wear the same school’s colors, you’re a piece of shit.

No way, no how would any of you agree if this was your team. The announcers said it was a crap call. I guess they are pieces of shit as well.

Most sensitive fan base in all of sport. Including Euros....

This is targeting.

That could easily be called targeting. Now watch it again. Did the DB lead with his head, or with his shoulder?

I'll grant you that the side of his head did come in contact with the WR's head FIRST.
But why was it the side of his head and not the front? That would make for a more impactful blow. The reason the side of his collides with the WR's helmet is because he's leading with his shoulder. His INTENT was to deliver a shoulder first blow- which is completely legal. Unfortunately, human physiology got in the way.

Huh… so, y’all love to claim that the entire CFB machine rides Bevo’s dick; how announcers, ESPN, conferences, etc… are crooked and have no integrity, because they can be bought by Texas. But, in this instance they’re (a) not doing so, and (b) you now believe what they were saying? Which is it?

For the record, I stand by what I said. I’ve never said, much less believed that announcers are immune from bias. So, yes… most of them are pieces of shit in my opinion.

What percentage of the aggy corp served in the military after graduating? Kudos to them. But, of all the ones that I have known, there hasn't been one that has gone off to serve (except for 2 WWII veterans that were an aggys. I also have known old Texas Exes that served during WWII and Vietnam.
But since then, no "younger guys" that graduated after 1980 that I know, from aggyland or the 40 acres served...

Do I think it was targeting? I don’t think it was. If it was it was the softest targeting of all time at a really crap time of the game.
These kinds of arguments do nothing but cause you to lose all credibility on this board. Silly childish attempts to deflect a loss. One penalty does not a game make. I promise you this though. First, I hope we steamroll your ass Saturday. I doubt that will happen. It will be a close game. We’ll still be in the playoff either way. But if we lose, I’ll simply congratulate you and tell you good game. I’m not going to bitch about penalties. Grow up dude.

It was a question..I answered it..sorry if you get offended

The targeting rule is ---- did the player lower his head, make contact with the crown of his head, did he impact the other player in the head, and was the offensive player defenseless......

And in this instance- the ball was already past the player and on the ground.

All 4 boxes are checked. Now- if he'd of gotten his money's worth- you'd have no leg to stand on. But he didn't. He targeted the WR..... he just didn't have the intestinal fortitude to follow through with it. Yes- it was a ticky tack call. Yes, it was during a pivotal point of the game. But players must remember that if you give a ref the opportunity to intercede, don't do it during a pivotal point of the game.

Far less than they used to. Before the 90s it was a pretty high percentage but now not as many. I have 2 nephews that went from the core into the military

Dear God, the cherry picking and revisionst history has invaded Texags.

It reads almost like a "but....but.....but...." argument.

Have a look and try not to laugh.

The Cult never disappoints. I’m pretty sure BBA is a bot. He occasionally drops into the abyss but for the most part he’s cult resistant.

I always thought targeting was hitting with the crown of the helmet...clearly.... CLEARLY this did not happen.

What else you got?

I tell you what.... I am willing to let Old School Cat to review that play and make a ruling. I think he is from the days when the Corps had honor. I understand if he elects to stay out of this.

I cannot be more fair than that.
