I guess it's a really good thing that the O- and D-line got a whole lot "tougher" during the off-season or who knows what the score might have been.

Observation: I remember when everyone talked about Strong's D. We are running the exact same D with Herman. We will never be successful running a 3 down linemen, PERIOD. No pressure on the QB at all. DB's are all playing a zone and look like last year. Offensively, why we are not using Warren on pass protection and not using him for running especially going for it on 4th and 2. WR's did well. Shane better get his stuff right or the fish will take his spot.
COACH HERMAN: get the 2 best DT's and the 2 best DE's to form a 4 down linemen. Go to a 3 LB or a 2 LB package. You need to get them to apply pressure. Use Warren a lot more and run the ball more, think of BALANCE. Stop playing the safety low. If we couldn't stop Maryland, how we going to stop the passing Big12 teams.
