As I've said before I went to my first game at Memorial Stadium more than 50 years ago and I remember most of the great players and i know that BringBackRoyal, Strangerhorn, and a few others do as well.

That being said the best TX center was Bill Wyman he played during the Royal years.

And the absolute worst is DK. It would take to long to list why and I wouldn't say anything people on here didn't already know. Yesterday he managed to bounce the ball off his leg on 3rd and short.

I don't wish injuries on any player but maybe DK can be summoned for jury duty this week.

Ummm... His replacement is Rafiti Ghermia. He is not good. Hand has completely failed in developoing Ghermai. We have a narrow eye to thread at this point. It's pretty much a given that next year is a wasted year but ya'll already knew that.

To DK's defense, he's never played center before at any level prior to last season. I feel for him since he's from our HS and is friends with my daughter. He's truly an outstanding young man with a great family. Too bad he's had to play out of position this year. He's one of those kids that will do everything you ask from him and he volunteers for everything. I'm certain when they were in need of a C he probably told the coached to let him do it knowing that's what the team needed. Unfortunately for him and for the team, he's had to learn on the fly and that's not the position you want to learn as you go.

He hasn’t helped himself with some truly just stupid penalties the last couple games. I think that has probably shined the light on him even more.

I'm sorry buy he's been lousy. When he was a freshman playing tackle he almost got Shane Buechele killed in the TCU game his man got countless sacks and knocked down SB countless times. They almost broke Shane. And during the game DK stood there like a beached whale. He moves to guard gives up a lot of sacks and gets called for penalties countless times. So now he's at center and it's the same song 3rd verse. I thought this year all he had to do was snap the ball and try to get out of the way. And bouncing the ball off his leg? C' mon now. I'm glad he's a fine young man and I mean that but we've got to get that boy out of the starting lineup.

Let's not forget his almost giving up a fumble because he did not realize that Sam was not touching his a$$.

I don't know how many people agree with me, but I believe it is coaching and not necessarily the players. Herb Hand is better than Warehime, but our offensive is merely average and we have difficulty putting people away due to our non-dominating offensive line.
