Many argue that not giving a new head coach more than two years to make his plan work is "unfair". Yet no one seems to argue that the same should apply to coordinators or other staff who obviously inherited some of the same issues inherited by the head coach. Why does the head coach get a pass when members of his staff are fair game for dismissal - especially if the head coach is similarly inept? Just curious?
