Now I'm starting to understand why OK has had an average defense the last 2 years.

I’ll be interested to see what Lincoln Riley does when he has to build the program. He was put in the best possible situation. Already had a coaching staff in place, a top 10 team. Basically all he had to do is be the OC and not screw the other stuff up. Let’s see what he does when he has to do some of the things most coaches have to do in year 1

I don't think offense will ever be the problem for Lincoln. Not to mention they pulled a number of defensive recruits Texas was in need of...Tatum, Perkins, Bonito and White.

I'm pretty sure Ruffin is his guy, it's how he goes about removing or limiting Stoops.

He did well without that talent over at ECU. I think his offense will be salty regardless, that will never be an issue. And apparently the defensive commits are raving about him too. OU's only 5 star for this class specifically called out Riley as a big part of why he signed. He really needs a good DC in there who can recruit.

I’m sure Mike is tinkering with putting a 240lb rush end in the DT position. He’s innovative like that.
