Trying to watch the game but that 12 year old boy announcer is driving me insane. It is crazy all the big 12 games were played before 6 pm and there are 3 SEC games on after 6.
This uniform thing started in 1999 with Oregon. Oregon has a contract with Nike. Nike's headquarters are in Portland. Nike president Phil Knight graduated from Oregon.
At this same time Michael Jordan had retired and i guess Nike decided to venture into something new hence uniforms. Tradition had gone out the window. My goodness those all crimson uniforms OK wow last week were awful. So FL wore green tonite? Aren't their colors blue and orange? Wearing colors that aren't even your school colors? The ugliest ate those all black uniforms that Baylor wears on occasion.
And it looks like it's here to stay. Some schools have a contract with Nike/Adidas to wear a different uniform combination every game. Even the NFL is doing it now. I'm telling you my jaw dropped when I saw the Packers in all white last week.
It's a new era times have changed. Today's college players really like this it's often a selling point.

so Herman can grab a couple top 10 recruiting classes under him before atm goes and hire a real Coach.a&m is into Sumlin for at least two more years and he makes at least 5 mil. They have to keep him for at least another year. I mean hire a new coach pay him at least 6 mil per yeat and having to pay the predecessor doesn't make financial sense.
