OB nation does anyone own a GMC vehicle or the above vehicle? I am looking for feedback on the brand. What are your likes or dislikes if you have any.

I have a 2013 GMC Sierra. Very satisfied, haven't had any issues. Have 69000 miles on it and knock on wood still going strong.

I have a 2007 GMC Yukon and it runs like a champ. Has over 170000 miles. Never had any problems as of yet

My little brother still has his 1995 gmc Yukon, two door. 600,000 miles on it. New tranny, new engine (at 400,000) and it still runs like a champ. He's pulled a 21 foot Stratos bass boat with it since 2001.

I own a terrain as a third vehicle, meaning it isn't our primary transportation. I have about 21000 miles on it. I don't have any problems with it, but I know others that claim to have. If I had any issues, they would be lack of room (but I am 6'5"), and it is all-wheel-drive instead of 4WD, which makes a difference in the winter on the hills here in WV.

Older GM vehicles were great. Anything after 2010 or so I would research highly....especially if you are dropping a lot of $$.

I drove GM from 1989 to 2011. Ford/Toyota now.

Agree. I would do some research, I've read GMC having issues at least in the Sierra. Take everything with a grain of salt because the internet tends to magnify everything bad and plenty of people are there to bash any particular car manufacturer. According to them if you buy (insert any brand) vehicle it's only a matter of time before you are stranded in the desert and eaten by wolves.

The wife and I bought a 2015 Tahoe and traded it in after 6 months. It was a POS. Without going into much detail none of the new fangled slick bells and whistles worked, it rattled like a cheap toy, and it spent 45 of the first 60 days in the shop. Unacceptable for the $65K price tag.

Hopefully they have their bugs fixed....

I just bought a GMC Acadia back in March. Absolutely love it. It's been everything I wanted in an SUV.

But I do agree that you need to research all vehicles and find one that best fits your family and your needs.

I appreciate all the feed back and we ultimately went with the GMC terrain. The vehicle is awesome and it had all the items we needed as a family.
