So KP George is the County Judge in Fort Bend County. Apparently, he had one of his deputies (Taral Patel) create several fake online social media accounts, including apparently some in my neighborhood Facebook group. He then had those fake social media accounts send racist messages directed at George. As a result of the racist messages (which apparently all originated from George's staff), George then requested taxpayer funded security detail and a $70k Tahoe with a driver to chauffer him around.
I believe the Patel guy has already been charged with several crimes as a result of this and now they just need to verify if it was directed by George. Hard to believe this isn't getting wider attention in the media.
