So, I'm taking my 2 1/2 year old twins to school/daycare/whatever its called in 2017 this morning.

As I'm walking into the double doors with the kids, I'm carrying Haven, who is upset that she's going to school and not staying at home with me, while Hendrix is trying to tackle me because he wants me to carry him instead of his sister.

By the time I get to the fingerprint scanner, both kids are screaming for different reasons and Hendrix has not wrapped both arms around me, refusing to walk another step.

Suddenly, Haven has worked herself into such a frenzy that she starts to cough. After her third cough, I heard the sound associated with vomiting. I tried to calm her down, but it was too late because within seconds, she's spewing both of us in the milk and breakfast that she consumed 10 minutes earlier. Every time I think she's done, she hurls more vomit on both of us, while Hendrix continues to cling to both legs between the entry door.

By the time Haven is done, we both look like we just had green stuff dropped on us from You Can't Do that on Television. I'm so covered in vomit that there really wasn't much I could do to make it better other than to take the food chunks off my shoulders.

Haven had zero back-up clothes because I was carrying the back-up clothes in my hands when she started the show. So, I had to go home, shower, get more clothes and do a double-back because when I left her, she was walking around in only a diaper.

This... is my life.
