Tonight Hannity, the No.1 show on the No.1 news channel, had an 8 minute segment on the homeless problem in Austin, showing the tents, panhandling, littering, feces, & needles, with an interview about the recent multiple stabbings & murder by a homeless man. Somehow our home grown & imported liberals have initiated policies copied from their dream model of San Francisco.

My question is what the impact of the national & local news coverage of these problems & our failure to deal with them will be on potential recruits & their parents, especially those living in smaller & usually more conservative towns who don't have to deal with these issues as much?

You may not agree with my take on the policies, but the question about the impact of the media coverage is real.
