The Sticks of East Texas
I was at the game and was able to see the dichotomy in athletes between the two teams. Make no mistake Tulsa had some athletes, but VT was the bigger and faster of the two. I was amazed watching the efficiency of the Tulsa offense against a very athletic VT defense. With all the question marks we have I feel much better after seeing "TU" dismantle VT. I sat on the Tulsa side and struck up conversations with two of alumni which started because my son had on his Texas hat. Each concurred that SG is "the man" as the offensive team on the field Saturday was directly attributed to him. Both gentlemen went on and on about the tremendous difference SG and the entire staff made in one year. Saturday night was truly a great relief to watch. I just have good feeling that SG is going to turn the offensive corner for us.

Wasn't Blankenship calling the plays in the bowl game as well as all year? I like that Tulsa qb, he throws the ball well.
