It looks like you can take all but a handful of states off the map when it comes to presidential elections. CNN released a poll today showing Trump losing badly to any democrat, including a 10 point landslide to Beto. It seems that there is no reason to include ND, Utah, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, SD, SC, California, Mississippi, Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut and a few others in these polls. Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, Illinois, Indiana, Alabama, WV, Arkansas, are getting close to irrelevant.

Poll likely voters or registered voters in Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, Maine, Virginia, North Carolina, Alaska, NM, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, and leave it at that.
