He apparently caused quite a stir flying around LAX.
FAA Statement:
“A China Airlines crew reported seeing what appeared to be someone in a jet pack at an approximate altitude of 6,000 feet, about seven miles northwest of Los Angeles International Airport around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday. The FAA alerted local law enforcement and will look into the report.”
ATC:
1037 Tower: "A flying object? a UAV or was it a jetpack?"
1041 Plane: "A light jetpack, tiny, it ah.
1037 Tower: "What side of the aircraft was the jetpack on?"
1041 Plane: "Left side."
