Hello,
I took a job in Austin moving from Florida and am starting to have issues with my boss and the role at the company now. The situation has been heading south towards December and I think it will be mutually beneficial for me to find a new position. I work for a tech / engineering company so no availability for me to hop to another department, sadly, as I like the company and my role. I have started looking for new positions but am having trouble getting any call backs. I'm semi new to the area and haven't had the time to network like I did in my old town after being there for 10 plus years. I work in Supply Chain and Logistics and want to stay in that field. Are there any suggestions on what to do to attempt to get some interviews from other companies in the area? Is the best thing to do to email recruiters or hiring managers cold to possibly get a call back? I'm studying to take the GMAT to get my MBA as I think that could potentially be hurting me as well. I'm open to all and any suggestions. This is only the second time I've really been on the job hunt so it's foreign territory to me.
Thanks for reading
