There was one other time when I hit a ball into the outfield. I mean... it was an out... but I didn't swing and miss. There were enough of the swings and misses.

Danny was a year older. I remember the Reds being the second best team in the league with Casey Carter and Martin DeLeon (two Grisham studs at the time) on it.

I was on the Giants and we were pretty average on the whole.

Unfortunately, I feel the same way as well. Many apologist on here say differently and I will agree Riley inherited a better situation, but you don’t go 36-6 in your first three years and not be an amazing coach. His offensive system is one of the best I’ve ever seen and he’s getting the defense turned around. He will win a NC at Oklahoma before heading to the pros at some point.
