Losing to K-State

I'm liking what I'm seeing from the pitching rotation.

Our two lock down starters, French and Hollingsworth are looking good. French has a 1.69 ERA and Hollingsworth will have about a 3 ERA after tonight. Hollingsworth is coming off surgery so it was going to take him a few games to get back into the groove. Hollingsworth has a 1.26 ERA over the last two games so he's starting to find his stuff.

Duke, Culbreth, Bellow, and Johnston will be effective out of the pen.

Now we need Mayes to develop and become that 3rd starter (1 ERA so far on this year so he's shown the ability).

I think we may be seeing Clemens at 1B more, but it looks like he's going to take the mound tomorrow.

Texas up 5-1 in game 3 on K-State.

Clemens gave us 5 innings. Say what you will about Clemens but he has a 2 ERA over the last 5 outings.

Nobody can get Ben Johnson out right now. Probably the best player in college baseball.

Really like the idea of Clemens at 1B when not pitching. Let's Cantu or Barrera DH when not C. Great defense and more offensive potential than Stell, Macalla or Mathis at DH.
