A few friends and I got to spend a few hours with him and his wife a couple months ago in Boulder. We asked a lot of questions and he patiently answered all of them. He’s going back for the first time since he left 79 years ago, at age 99. Can’t imagine. He said he’ll probably cry a fair amount.
He also served on CU’s faculty for 70 years. He still moves around like he’s much younger
