Only the weak blame others (referring to you blaming elcapitan).... Only you were responsible for that thread closing when it did. Only you were responsible for participating in and allowing that thread to go on as long as it did.

MM, you have displayed very poor judgment and leadership for the last few days...
1. You yourself made politically targeted posts despite being the moderator
2. You have allowed very pointed and disrespectful comments (on both sides)
3. You have chosen to overlook some blatantly racist comments by some
4. You allowed many extremely insensitive posts by people mocking others for the way they were dealing with the situation ( trying to share information and voice their fears/concerns.)

These are unprecedented and stressful times. People (and those on this board are no exception) are more likely to drop their guard and express themselves in ways that many will find hurtful. It was your job as the moderator to not allow this site to be a forum for such behavior.

Did you not read the thread I just locked? I asked that this discussion be dropped and we get back to talking about Longhorn related subjects. I made an exception to allow some of the political commentary related to the corona virus go on. Obviously that was a mistake and that kind of thing will never happen again due to some people not being able to keep from make things personal and also how childish some are. I couldn't care less that you think that "I did not do my job right".
