Movie to check out during the holidays

The new Godfather got my attention, if they can only make theatres safe.

And while I'm taking about holiday viewing there's another Netflix documentary I'm going to watch again Medal of Honor. It's an 8 part documentary about men who won the MoH. The story of Vito Antolak brought tears to my eyes and I damn near cried on other ones.

Cali says check it out and if you've already seen it check it out again.

Damn my dude. You realize both the movie with Costner and woody as well as the medal of honor show-- were discussed on here like over a year ago?

Wait--- cali--- be honest now-- did you just start watching Netflix during covid?

Well I assumed people most people have already seen this. But that's what we do during the holidays binge watch something that we've seen before that gave us enjoyment.

So what's wrong with talking about it again? Nothing. That's what we do during the holidays watch movies that we've seen before that gave us enjoyment. And the Netflix thing I've subscribed to that channel for 7 years.
Are you kidding that's the 1 thing that has gotten me through this insanity. I'm a Mormon haven't you ever wondered why a lot of Mormons have big families?

Hey Cali, I thought it was other "physical activities" that were getting you through these times, not Netflix!!!

Something else is Celebrating Light of the World 2020. All you have to do is youtube it and type it in. Look for something that's approx 44 minutes. It has a version of the First Noel that's the best I've ever heard. Some really talented musicians on here.

Trying to binge watch some classics for the next couple of days. Halfway thru In Harms Way my favorite John Wayne movie. The last classic in black and white and it has an all star cast. Getting late watch the 2nd half tomorrow.

If you haven't seen it then outhereincali says check it out. Try to find a classic to enjoy on Xmas day.

About 4 years ago I decided that I would start my own tradition by watching the greatest Christmas movie of all time on December 25th.

I couldn’t find it anywhere, only on some HBO channels, but don’t get those.

I concluded by watching the 30 for 30 documentary What Carter Lost about the Dallas Carter who won the state title but was stripped of it. I don't know why it took so long to watch it but I'm glad I have now.

Craig Way and former asst coach Bruce Chambers were interviewed in the documentary. I didn't know that CW got his start doing radio for hs fb in Dallas. I knew that BC played for Carter and he was a coach on that team. In fact he became the hc and MB hired him from there.

I remember that Carter team very well. Matter of fact they beat one of our local teams, Converse Judson, in the state finals. That was one h*** of a team.
