I just googled national debt January 2020, and here's what it said:
National Debt · Debt Held by the Public at the End of January 2020: $17.2 trillion · Debt Held by the Public through January 2019: $16.1 trillion ...
Less than 2 1/2 years later under the Biden Administration, the national debt is over $31 trillion. It has almost doubled, and they still want more. Republicans want to reduce spending, but Democrats won't budge.
