According to Dane Brugler on The Athletic.
CB Kris Boyd, Texas (5-11 1/2, 195)
While he looked OK in press-man drills on the outside where he had the sideline, it was a completely different story when Boyd was asked to play off coverage or move inside and cover a tight end. Stetson TE Donald Parham (6-8 3/8, 243) burned him with a slight hesitation move on the post pattern as Boyd failed to properly read the route and was caught off balance. When asked to play near the line of scrimmage, turn and shadow routes, he does a nice job staying within arm’s length, but he also struggles to find the football downfield. Boyd is in contention to be the first senior corner drafted after Ya-Sin, but he hasn’t played like it through two practices.
