Technically, I'm supposed to be starting vacation this weekend but I need some mod points, so here's a positive update on center Michael Myslinski.
I talked to the Jacksonville Bishop Kenny product today and it sounds like he's very close to having a decision ... as in probably this week.
Recently, Myslinski visited the campuses of Florida State, Texas, Maryland, Duke, Iowa, Michigan State and Missouri. His plan is to narrow that it down to about 4 from that group, then 2 and then make a decision.
This one is still undecided but I like Texas' chances overall. Myslinski really likes the coaches, including Herb Hand, Mike Yurcich and Tom Herman. He likes UT's academics, has family in Round Rock, etc. He's been talking to guys like Hayden Conner, Junior Angilau and Derek Kerstetter to pick their brains. This one makes a lot of sense. I actually put my FutureCast pick in for Texas today with what I'd describe as cautious optimism.
